I am a semi-professional poker player living in Las Vegas and write murder mysteries for my own enjoyment. But after having 'witnessed', much to my dismay the latest offerings in what are called poker oriented movies offered up by Hollywood I have realized that I have written one that puts them all to shame. Of cousre, it is not in screenplay format, but I think it would make the best poker movie to come along since the Cincinnati Kid-in my opinion- the last great poker movie. If I am not boring you by now and you would like to hear what I have to say about it, i.e. a brief synopsis-and since I am not Hollywood savvy, I would love to hear from you. P.S. My daughter just gave me your novel, Under The Gun for fathers day gift. I whizzed through it in about 6 hours. Loved every bit of it. I also enjoy your PokerPlayer column.
